San Fran Bottled Water Ban

In case you missed it, the city of San Francisco is doing something that actually makes sense! Beginning July 1, city departments, all city concessions, city-funded events and functions in city buildings will save money by using their tap water instead of purchasing bottled water. Utilizing bottled water is expensive and transporting it contributes to pollution. San Francisco has great tasting tap water to boot, so there really is no need to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars per year on bottled water!
