Colorado Hotel Making Green Strides

Imagine relaxing in a chemical-free hotel room where even the shower is chlorine-free. The Boulder Outlook Hotel and Suites will soon offer one. In addition, they have set up a comprehensive program to recycle, compost, purchase materials that use less packaging or are made of recycled content, and clean with non-toxic products. Even the pool is chlorine free!
The hotel has plans to be powered solely by wind energy purchased from their local utility. It’s no wonder that they won a 2007 Sustainable Business Medal of Honor from the Colorado CleanTech Initiative!
