REI Retailer Opens A Greener Store

It’s so encouraging to see retailers jumping on the green bandwagon. A recent survey revealed that 66% of retailers are interested in implementing environmentally friendly business practices.

Last week, Recreational Equipment Inc. (REI) opened a newly remodeled store in Boulder, Colorado, one that will serve as a prototype for green retail construction. According to Greener Buildings, it incorporated solar technologies and sustainable materials. See the full story here.
