Green Homes For The Middle Class

As we see the demand for greener homes increase, builders will deliver. In Minnesota, a new townhouse complex was built to be more energy efficient, more sustainable and more affordable for the middle class. E2 Cityhomes in South Minneapolis was built on the site of an apartment complex that had been a casualty of fire years earlier. Sustainable building practices include the use of a geothermal system, well insulated building envelope, energy efficient doors and windows, and water-conserving fixtures.
