LEED for Homes Popular in Seattle

The new LEED-for-Homes program by the U.S. Green Building Council has encouraged several pilot projects in Washington State. Building green may not be new to Seattle, but now third-party verification and certification helps to solidify the concept. Take for instance, Cascade Built’s homes and townhomes constructed only on urban infill lots, once deemed unusable, to help prevent sprawl.
