Looking for peace and quiet? A great product called 440 Sound Barrier is perfect for residential and commercial settings where noise reduction between floors and walls is needed. Even do-it-yourselfers can install this product.
The high density sound barrier panels are made from 100% post-consumer recycled wastepaper and a formaldehyde-free paraffin binder. It also insulates, with twice the R-Value of wood. And it resists termites, rot, and moisture.
The benefits to putting old waste paper to use are: reducing landfill, saving trees, and reducing air pollution. The company also reuses the water in manufacturing in a closed loop system.
It is made by Homasote, a New Jersey-based company dedicated to manufacturing structural fiberboard products from waste paper since 1909.
