For all you Northeasterners (like me) looking for warmth, you can head on down to Florida where ICI Homes Inc. and General Electric Company are constructing 133 green homes. These “EFACTOR” homes are being built in Plantation Bay Golf & Country Club in Flagler County.
Future homeowners will benefit from significant savings on energy and water bills, as well as reductions in greenhouse gas emissions from the homes. Isn’t it great to see one of the largest privately-owned home builders in the U.S. embracing sustainable construction?!
