When looking to furnish your office with new equipment, why not consider purchasing Energy Star-rated computers, copiers, fax machines, mailing machines, multifunction devices (MFDs), printers, and scanners? They’ll save you a significant amount of money on electricity bills with energy-efficient designs that even automatically enter into a low-power mode when not in use. That’s not to say that you shouldn’t just shut them off altogether, but in case you forget, the energy gods are looking after you.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Energy (DOE) present the latest information on Energy Star models, store locations, applicable tax incentives/rebates, and even an energy savings calculator to compare conventional equipment against Energy Star rated equipment.
