Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia is hosting its second annual Green Building Conference as part of its Green Affordable Philadelphia demonstration project of building seven environmentally friendly and affordable homes in the East Parkside section of the City. All seven homes will be built to LEED Standards and will incorporate a number of green building technologies.
The conference will be held over three days – March 14 – 16 with a speaker event co-hosted by the Delaware Valley Green Building Council on Friday, March 14, a full day of workshops at Philadelphia University on Saturday March 15, and tours of sustainable sites on Sunday March 16.
