Care about the environment? Concerned about global climate change? Want to know what you can do to make a difference? Well, Al Gore’s Alliance for Climate Protection has just launched a new campaign, called the “We Can Solve the Climate Crisis”, designed to engage the American public in the issue of global climate change.
The “We” movement addresses and offers solutions to combat global warming by putting pressure on our political and corporate leaders to employ existing technologies and strategies.
The Alliance for Climate Protection has created a website where you can do the following: make your voice heard by signing the petition for a global treaty on climate change, urge the press to ask presidential candidates about global warming, get involved in your own community, and reduce your carbon footprint. Success stories around the world are featured as well.
Suggested solutions on the site include supporting: a clean energy economy, adoption of renewable energy solutions, enhanced energy efficiencies, and innovative leadership.

If somebody asked Al Gore to have a debate on quantum mechanics or algebraic topology he would definitely reply that can’t debate it because he doesn’t know much on these topics. How about climatology? What kind of arrogance makes him think that he knows anything on this subject?
