Bring the whole family along to this weekend’s Green Festival in Seattle and enjoy live music and performances, organic food, and local beer and wines.
With 350 exhibits of natural and Fair Trade products, green building materials, green educational resources, as well as numerous speakers and how-to workshops, you’re sure to get inspired.
Be sure to bring along your small household electronics like laptops, cell phones, PDAs, CDs and batteries if you’re looking for a proper means of disposal.
The event takes place at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center, 800 Convention Place, Seattle, WA this Saturday from 10am to 8pm and Sunday from 11am to 6pm. Price of admission is $15 which includes entry to all activities for one day or the entire weekend, along with a free year’s membership in Co-Op America, 10% off purchases at the Global Exchange Store, and more. Discounts are available to students and seniors. Kids under 12, Co-Op America members, and Global Exchange members are free!
Travel on the monorail and receive $5 off admission when you show your ticket. Another way to receive $5 off admission is to bring in 3 books to donate to help fund girls’ scholarships in developing countries.
