Trade show exhibitors are notorious for producing all kinds of promotional materials, but one company, Draper, is making a concerted effort to conserve resources at the upcoming LightFair, NeoCon, Construct and Green Buildings New York events.
Attendees who visit Draper’s booth won’t walk away with numerous catalogs and fliers, but with a USB web key, which when plugged into a USB port on any Windows computer, will automatically navigate to a special website created specifically for Draper’s trade show presence. Hopefully, they’ll set a new trend for others to conserve paper.
Draper’s window shades and projection screens have received GreenGuard certification for not compromising clean indoor air quality.
The company is going one step further by donating $5 to Heifer International for every web key registered on their site. Heifer is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending world hunger and its Arkansas-based headquarters is a LEED-certified green building that incorporates Draper’s products.
