The Carpet & Rug Institute, the national trade association for the carpet and rug industry, has been awarded certification by the American National Standard Institute (ANSI) for its indoor air quality testing programs. ANSI is the premier source for International standardization and conformity assessment.
The CRI’s Green Label and Green Label Plus programs test for harmful VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) emissions that are released by carpet, cushioning, and adhesives. The CRI then certifies products with low emissions that would have minimal impact on good indoor air quality inside buildings.
Residential and Commercial customers can learn more at the Carpet & Rug Institute website.
