Engineering, construction, and design professionals are expected to attend the free, two-day Great Lakes Regional Facilities Expo this week in Cleveland, Ohio. The expo will showcase a wide array of products and services, along with educational sessions that cover how green building, sustainable operations management, and LEED standards apply to existing buildings.
The conference coordinator states, “Improving energy efficiency and interior air quality as well as applying other LEED standards can mean spending less on energy, having fewer worker sick days, reducing disposal costs, getting fewer fines from government agencies and fewer environmental-related lawsuits and providing lower insurance rates. Plus, governments and utilities often offer rebates and incentives.”
The expo will take place at the I-X Center on October 15 & 16.
