Boston Get Ready for Greenbuild 2008

The most significant event in the realm of green building is coming to town next month. Greenbuild, an international conference and expo, will be brought to building and design professionals by the U.S. Green Building Council. The annual event, themed this year as ‘Revolutionary Green: Innovations for Global Sustainability’, is expected to draw 25,000 attendees.

Greenbuild includes over 100 educational sessions featuring world renown speakers, LEED workshops, off-site educational sessions, an expansive exhibit hall, a film festival, and Green Building tours of local Boston sites. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will also be available. Archbishop Desmond Tutu will deliver the opening keynote address.

‘The cost of attending Greenbuild 2008 will vary based on whether you’re a USGBC member, how many days you attend and which optional events (e.g. LEED Workshops) you choose to attend. Tickets can be purchased for the entire conference or for individual events.’
