Green Roof Tops NYC School: Come See!

The Calhoun School located in New York’s Upper West Side received the city’s first green school roof and will open its Green Roof Learning Center to the public for tours this Thursday, October 23. Not only does the roof supply a valuable green landscape atop the building, but it helps out with city stormwater management by soaking up thousands of gallons of rainwater per year.
