Five green schools to serve low-income children in Los Angeles, California will be constructed with grant money from Global Green, a California-based non-profit organization that addresses environmental issues and supports sustainable building. Two of the schools have recently been completed and Treehugger has the scoop on Global Green’s role in the projects, as well as the ribbon cutting ceremony.
