NAHB Seeks Entrants for National Green Building Awards

Each year, the National Association of Home Builders honors building industry professionals for excellence in green residential design and construction practices, and outstanding green advocacy efforts. To be eligible, projects must have been started after June 2007 and substantially completed by December 2008.
The 2009 award categories include:
- Advocate of the Year – Individual or Group
- Advocate of the Year – State or Local Government
- Green Home Building Program of the Year
- Project of the Year – Single Family
- Project of the Year – Remodel
- Project of the Year – Multifamily
- Project of the Year – Development
Entries must be postmarked by January 31, 2009 and may be submitted via electronic application only in an effort to green the process. Award winners are invited to a gala dinner, on May 8th 2009, in Dallas, TX, as part of the 11th annual NAHB National Green Building Conference.
