Green Depot and Greenmaker Merge to Create Nation’s Largest Green Building Materials Supplier

Two major suppliers of green building products, Brooklyn-based Green Depot and Chicago-area Greenmaker, announced a merger creating the largest supplier of its kind in the United States. The announcement was made at the renowned Greenbuild International Conference and Expo taking place this week in Boston.
Green Depot has five outlets located in Brooklyn, Boston, Philadelphia, Long Island, N.Y. and Newark, N.J, and plans to add new stores in Albany, N.Y., Newark, D.E., and Manhattan next year. Greenmaker’s flagship store is located in the Remodeler’s Supply Center Plaza in Chicago. They supply kitchen & bath materials, flooring, insulation, lighting & electrical supplies, lawn & garden products, paints & finishes, and glues & adhesives, to name a few.
