The symposium (April 3rd and 4th), geared towards industry professionals, will focus on green building along the Gulf Coast region, sustainable land use and global warming issues. Inspirational keynote speakers and educational sessions are on the docket.

The consumer part of the event (April 5th and 6th) is free to the general public and will feature a comprehensive marketplace of the latest in green building products and related services.

Green-focused tours will also be held on April 4 and include: projects that incorporate recycled materials; green roofs; Houston’s sustainable redevelopment; and innovations in engineering and energy efficiency in hot and humid climates.

All attendees are encouraged to use the Metro or the free GreenRide ride-share program.
