The timeless look of butcher block in the kitchen has a new, modern twist.  Creative options include the use of eco-friendly FSC-certified (Forest Stewardship Council) woods, reclaimed woods, local hardwoods, bamboo, and even recycled paper composites.

These countertops are sure to have a great impact in your kitchen with unique details including inlays, accent stains, edging details and parquet designs.  Keeping with the environmentally-sensitive theme, natural, low-VOC oils and stains bring out the beautiful grains.  So, where can you get these pieces of art?

  • Duluth Timber Company, of Duluth, Minnesota
  • Endurawood, of Portland, Oregon (pictured here is their hardrock maple with Oregon walnut countertop)
  • Windfall Lumber and Millwork of Tumwater, Washington

Finish this with a 100% All natural Hemp Oil!

I absolutely LOVE working with this product 🙂

It brings out the beautiful wood tones and protects and seals the wood. It is completely food safe.
