Looking for a way to show you care about the environment?  This March 29th at 8pm, concerned citizens around the world will make a united statement against global warming by turning off their lights for one hour.  The concept dubbed “Earth Hour” began last year in Sydney, Australia, when more than 2 million people participated.  The result:  the city’s energy consumption was reduced by 10.2% and equaled taking 48,000 cars off the road for the hour.

Visit earthhour.org to get involved.  So far, over 30,000 individuals and businesses around the globe have signed up.  And remember you can make a difference everyday by conserving electricity and signing up for cleaner power through your local utility.
