If you happen to be visiting the quaint town of Park City, Utah this weekend to do some skiing, you’ll also have the opportunity to learn about renewable energy, sustainable living, green financing, and alternative fuel vehicles at the Green Building Consumer Trade Show. The event will feature more than 40 exhibits including solar hot water, photovoltaics, tankless water heaters, reclaimed & sustainable hardwoods, Energy Star windows, and information on tax incentives and rebates.

When asked if the downturn in the economy would have an impact, Laurie Nadeau of the Environmental Issues Committee said, “Absolutely. People are eager to invest in something like solar power now, get immediate relief to their cash flow, take advantage of rebates and tax incentives, and then have a strong potential to get their investment money back later when the market goes up.”

The Park City Board of Realtors Environmental Issues Committee, Recycle Utah, and The Canyons is sponsoring the Green Building Consumer Trade Show which takes place on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 at the Grand Summit Hotel. The entrance fee is only a buck and parking is free!
